Notes: I haven't had any luck establishing Nathan B. Hurt's grandparents and I'm not sure where other Hurt researchers came up with 'Wright' as Lucy's maiden name. My grandmother seemed to know nothing of the family and apparently Frank and Nora, although 15 and 13 when their father died, never really spoke of what happened or where their parents were buried. Selen's mother and brothers were in Vienna, IL and her mother didn't die until 1909. Perhaps there was really bad blood among them...?
